Around the 2nd century the Romans came to these lands in search of gold and discovered a place with a special captivation: The Earths of Doade and Amandi. Nineteen centuries later, though gold nuggets stay along the auriferous Sil, already one does not come to the Ribeira Sacra looking for this precious metal (although there hail), but that the "lait motive" of the journey is the quest for beauty , Gastronomy and escape towards the encounter with Mother Earth.
